His work in the addiction treatment field has included positions as the Executive Director of the New York State Council on Alcoholism and Other Drug Addictions, Inc. (NYSCADA), the Director of Community Relations with the Betty Ford Center as well as a Therapist/Unit Manager with Spofford Hall, a 125 bed, alcohol/drug addiction hospital in Spofford, New Hampshire. Mr. Lindsey also served as the Executive Director/Clinical Director of the Allegany County Council on Alcoholism and Substance Abuse, Inc. (ACCASA). Robert has a Masters of Science in Education in Guidance and Personnel Counseling, with a specialization in Community Mental Health from St. Bonaventure University, NY. He is a member of the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) Advisory Committee on the Treatment and Prevention of Alcohol and Other Substance Use Disorders, the Employee Assistance Professionals Association (EAPA), the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and he is a Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP).

Robert J. Lindsey has been President/CEO of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence, Inc. (NCADD since February 2006. Prior to becoming President, Mr. Lindsey was Vice President of Longview Associates, Inc. in White Plains, New York where he was responsible for EAP new business and account management. Mr. Lindsey also provided Management Consultation services to Senior Management, Human Resources, Managers/Supervisors as well as direct client services to employees and their family.
Leah Brock is NCADD Director of Affiliate Relations. She is a graduate of Marietta College in Ohio and has a Masters in Health Administration from the New School in New York City. Ms. Brock has been with NCADD for 25 years. Previously she worked for the National League for Nursing in a variety of positions, including that of statistician, assistant director for public policy, director of Community Health Nursing and Deputy Director for Administration. She has authored several publications and co-authored an encyclopedia entry on public health nursing. While at the National League for Nursing, Ms. Brock was the recipient of the Robah Kellogg Award for public health advocacy. She is a member of the American Public Health Association and the Public Health Association of New York City and has served as the latter organization’s Secretary and Treasurer; she also served on the Advisory Committee for the American Red Cross in New York. Leah was the 2008 recipient of the NCADD Silver Key Award.
