Information & Referral

Objective Information & Referral is a core service provided by NCADD and our National Network of Affiliates.  For many, NCADD is the first organization they think of to call for help.  For others, they call NCADD after having spoken unsuccessfully to a number of other local services.

In fact, last year alone, over 713,000 people called NCADD seeking help for themselves, a friend or a family member!

NCADD Affiliates provide unbiased, professional and objective guidance and support to individuals and families faced with alcohol and other drug problems, ensuring that those in need have access to mutual aid/support groups and/or appropriate treatment services regardless of age, sex, race, religion, creed or socio-economic status.

NCADD’s Information and Referral services provide confidential, one-on-one assessment, on the phone or in-person, by a trained professional who will match clients’ needs with appropriate services in the community, including treatment services, mutual aid/self-help groups, or other needed human services agencies.  NCADD Affiliates are a trained and successfully experienced listening and compassionate resource in times of need.

If you or a loved one needs treatment or other related alcohol and drug services, you can call 800/NCA-CALL (800/622-2255) or a click on Get Help to find the closest NCADD Affiliate.
