Policy Statement:

Moderate Drinking


    1)     No alcoholic should be encouraged to drink.

    2)     Alcoholics, by definition, cannot drink moderately.

    3)     People who choose to drink and who are not alcoholic or otherwise do not need to abstain, should drink in moderation defined by the federal government as no more than two drinks per day for men and no more than one drink per day for women.
