The NCADD staff, under the leadership of the President/CEO, is responsible for the day-to-day functioning of the organization, carrying out programs and services set forth by the Board of Directors.
Andrew N. Pucher is President and Chief Executive Officer of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence. He is responsible for strategic leadership as well as the day-to-day operational leadership of the organization. Mr. Pucher is a retired executive of the Walt Disney Company, having served as Vice President, Global Operations Management, where he was responsible for managing the Company’s owned and leased properties in the U.S., Europe and Asia, and before that as Vice President, East Coast Operations Management Disney Core Services. He also held several positions with Capital Cities/ABC, Inc., and ABC, Inc., including Vice President, East Coast Administration and Vice President, Facilities & Security. Previously, he was a Special Agent with the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration. Mr. Pucher earned a Bachelor of Arts in Government from Manhattan College and an MBA with Corporate Finance concentration from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business Administration. He has been a member of the NCADD Board of Directors.
Leah Brock, Director of Affiliate Relations, has been with NCADD since 1986. She is a graduate of Marietta College in Ohio and has a Masters in Health Administration from the New School in New York City. Previously she worked for the National League for Nursing in a variety of positions, including that of statistician, assistant director for public policy, director of Community Health Nursing and Deputy Director for Administration. She has authored several publications and co-authored an encyclopedia entry on public health nursing. While at the National League for Nursing, Ms. Brock was the recipient of the Robah Kellogg Award for public health advocacy. She is a member of the American Public Health Association and the Public Health Association of New York City and has served as the latter organization's Secretary and Treasurer; she also served on the Advisory Committee for the American Red Cross in New York. Leah was the 2008 recipient of the NCADD Silver Key Award.
Jill Price, Director of Administration and Finance, has been with NCADD since 2012. Jill has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting and graduated from Adelphi University in 1989. She has worked in various companies, such as General Vision Services as a Controller for 4 years, as well as the Multiple Sclerosis Society and Harlem United Community AIDS Center. She also holds a Certificate of Graphic and Digital Design from Parsons School of Design, New School University in 2004.
Paul Warren, Executive Assistant, has been with NCADD since 2012. Paul has a BFA from Pratt Institute, an MSE from Queens College (Art Education), and an MA from New York University (Studio Art). Before joining NCADD, Paul was a Senior Administrative Assistant at the Ford Foundation in the Knowledge, Creativity and Freedom Program.
