Treatment

Intake Process

We recognize that the intake process when seeking treatment can be very emotional. We are dedicated to helping you in a caring and timely manner. The intake process for all of our programs begins with a screening with the intake coordinator in which your demographic information, basic health information, and insurance information is collected. Income verification is a requirement during the screening process for all of our programs. When the screening process is complete and you have been accepted into a program, all of the admission requirements will be outlined for you including your intake date, fees, and payment options.

Crisis Services

Serenity Place is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If you need help and are unsure of what steps you should take to begin your recovery, just call or stop by and our staff will work with you to get you the help you need. We are also here for anyone at any stage of recovery that needs support through difficult times. Interim Services are also available to those who have been approved for intake into one of our programs and are not being admitted immediately.

Non-Medical Detoxification

The inpatient Detoxification Program (Detox) offers a 7-day structured schedule to assist clients with managing their withdrawal. The program offers daily recovery groups and activities as well as case management to help clients with referrals and treatment plans for their next stages of recovery.

Transitional Living Program (TLP)

The Transitional Living Program at Serenity Place is a 90 day residential program for individuals who have completed a treatment program within the last year. The program provides community based treatment including counseling, case management, education, and self-help groups. Residents live by house rules and a code of ethics. Accountability and responsibility are core values of the program as residents are assisted with job searches, finding permanent housing and productive living activities such as creating budgets and establishing bank accounts.

Intensive Outpatient for Men (IOP)

The Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program (IOP) at Serenity Place is for men 18 years and older who suffer from addiction and need more than individual counseling but do not require residential treatment. The program offers individuals the flexibility of maintaining employment and family obligations during the treatment process. IOP includes 19 collaborative group meetings, 4-6 individual counseling sessions, family meetings, and aftercare and referrals.

Outpatient Services

Evaluations, assessments, one-on-one individual counseling sessions, and other offerings are available through Outpatient Services.
