TRIAD is a free service-based recovery center at Trinity Episcopal Church in the city of Wilmington. Founded in 1976, the center serves those who are alcohol or drug dependent and their loved ones who are affected by it. TRIAD provides information and counseling for the physical, emotional and spiritual effects of drug and alcohol addiction for the individual and family.
TRIAD also offers referral services and therapy for families and friends of alcoholics and addicts and adult children of addicts who want to heal from being raised in an addition environment.
The services of TRIAD are free and beneficial to persons who are uninsured or in transition for the Department of Corrections. In addition to offering free counseling, TRIAD offers on-site educational and informational programs to faith-based and other groups in need throughout New Castle County. Our goal is to reach the many families torn apart by this disease so its member can heal though forgiveness and compassion (for one’s self and others).
