NCADD Joins The Giving Library

30393556- on a computerNCADD is honored to have been chosen to be part of The Giving Library, an online source of detailed information for prospective donors to do research on nonprofit organizations.

The website includes videos about each non-profit, responding to a series of 11 questions. Each posted video is about two to three minutes in duration.

The Giving Library enables the public to find a nonprofit that matches their unique interests! The Giving Library website also enables visitors to search the Giving Library Card Catalog by charitable cause, organization size or revenue. Additionally, visitors can see how their donations are making a difference since the The Giving Library Leaderboard displays the latest stats for nonprofit organizations.

The Giving Library recently launched a new campaign called "Share to Give" asking each of it's non-profit organizations to get people to share their video on Facebook and Twitter......for each person who shares, through The Giving Library website, NCADD will receive a $5 donation.

Friends of NCADD can support our organization without spending any money this holiday season. All one has to do is share NCADD's Giving Library video on Facebook or Twitter, and the Giving Library will donate $5 to NCADD.
It's that simple! Participants can share up to five organizations per month, and the Giving Library will donate up to $100,000 during the campaign. There are no gimmicks and no matching contributions.

How to Share:

  1. Discover an organization you want to share.
  2. Click the "Share Now" button.
  3. Create an account if you don't already have one.
  4. Click "Share on Facebook" or "Share on Twitter."
  5. Share either the default message or a message of your choice.
  6. The organization will receive $5 per share.
  7. Individuals may share up to five organizations per month.
