Page 124 Productions, producers of the documentary, "Bill W" took eight years of full-time work to complete the film.
In the process, their research included dozens of archives, private collections, and interviews of A.A. members and historians. And, through a healthy dose of good fortune they unearthed a special collection of never before seen photographs of Bill Wilson.
On May 29th, NCADD in collaboration with Page 124, co-hosted a special exhibit and sale of never-before-published photos from "The Bill W. Photographic Collection" at the Salmagundi Club in New York City.
A recent New York Times article recounted the story of Kevin Hanlon and Dan Carracino who happened upon a cache of images of Bill W., the co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous.
The collection will continue to tour nationwidfe including stops in Los Angeles on June 5th at the Skirball Cultural Center; june 6th at the Artists in Recovery Gallery in Laguna Beach; and, June 10th at the Port Theatre in Corona Del Mar. Click here to view images available for sale from Page 124.
