Jordan's Hope for Recovery was born out of the grief from the loss of yet another young soul. The Strickland family lost their son and they decided to take action.
Jordan’s Hope helps people and their families who struggle with addiction and alcoholism. We relieve suffering and provide HOPE for recovery.
Removing the stigma that comes with addiction and alcoholism. Bringing awareness to this disease by speaking up, working with other organizations, and being a part of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependency. Showing our community that people who suffer from this disease not only deserve to be treated as human beings but can give back in a positive way.
Connecting those in need with recovery and support resources by developing a web site, office space, phone line and human contact to bring them together with the resources that are available. Be of support to the family as well.
Promoting educational resources for prevention and recovery. Working again with other organizations and schools to implement educational programs for our youth. Bring new and useful programs from the NCADD as well as local entities.
Supporting treatment models that have proven long term success. We will support and encourage treatment that helps people to return to their lives and become successful members of our society. Encourage resources that extend beyond inpatient treatment.
